Nollywood actor Rykardo Agbor survives car crash

Nollywood actor Rykardo Agbor has survived a car crash in Ibadan, Oyo State.

Agbor announced the incident on Saturday in a video posted on his Instagram page, showing his badly damaged vehicle at the scene of the crash.

The silver Lexus SUV was seen with extensive damage to its front, including a crushed bonnet, smashed grille, exposed engine components and a damaged front-left tyre.

In the video, Agbor identified the location as being in front of the Cornerstone City billboard in Ibadan.

“This is my vehicle in front of Corner… Cornerstone City, Ibadan,” he said.

The actor, who appeared to be at the scene, repeatedly thanked God for surviving the incident.

“Thank you, Lord Jesus Christ. Thank you, Lord Jesus Christ. Thank you, Lord Jesus Christ,” he said.

He later added, “This is what just happened to me now. Oh God.”

In the accompanying post, Agbor wrote, “As I was saying.. …Thank God Almighty I made it out of this. Thank you Lord Jesus Christ.”

Agbor, born on February 4, 1973, in Lagos State, is a native of Delta State and studied Mass Communication at the University of Ibadan.

He began his acting career in 1992 after working as a model and rose to prominence after starring in Visa to Hell.

The actor has featured in several Nollywood productions in English and Yoruba over a career spanning more than three decades.
